I paid big bucks for a personal trainer last year and I’m thrilled to have found you and your clever workout combos and beyond reasonable pricing. I’ve sent free months to my mom and to a friend and will be conscious of sharing more of your work here and on IG!! Good luck I hope this vulnerable post pays off well!!
I'm excited for your next step! You offer so much here on Substack, and I hope this piece of your work continues to flourish. Also, I've been noticing more churn for the past 2ish months, too. I'm bummed that you're experiencing the same - it's been so frustrating!
Thank you so much, Gretchen!! That means a lot. And not at all happy to hear you have a lot of churn happening as well but it is helpful to know I’m not alone!
My work offers Hinge Health as part of our benefits package, and it’s because of you mentioning your work for them and recommending it that I have been using it since November. It was so helpful in treating my Achilles tendinitis. I still use it because just one 10-12 minute session improves my strength, mobility, and mood so much! I also just upgraded last week. I’ve been having some digestive issues keeping me fatigued and sick, but I’m excited to start one of the workouts!
Ahhh Athena, that is so amazing to hear! I know I was biased because I worked there, but I do think Hinge Health offers such an incredible product and makes it so easy to address musculoskeletal and pelvic health issues from home. I wish everyone had access to it! I really hope your digestive issues clear up soon. Be well <3
She primarily teaches mobility and pain management, and I attended her recent class on the pelvic floor that was so helpful. Her podcast has a nice variety of guests on evidence-based topics. She is also anti-diet!
Hello Anna, just reaching out to offer empathy - I’m in a very similar situation. I’ve been the content manager at Found Health for the past 3 and a half years, and they announced a restructuring last week that eliminated my job and about 20 others. It’s a hard place to be. (I just moved to a new place the month before, too!) I’d been working on my Substack and just launched a YouTube channel to help build myself some money making side gigs, but neither are mature enough to be the safety net I want to eventually have for myself. I feel sad for the excellent freelancers I worked with, too. I’m not sure if our topics intersect (my Substack is about style and self-discovery after body changes — in my case, weight loss) but I am happy to do some content swaps or partnerships. And like you, I also worked in magazines - diet editor for Health. Wishing you all the best.
Shaun, I’m so sorry to hear about your work. That’s so disappointing, especially when you’ve just moved and have all the related expenses! I’ll think about some possible collaboration and reach out!

Upgraded my subscription to paid subscriber!
Thank you, Danielle!
OK, initiating subscriber conversion. :) I'm sorry I didn't do it before, money is tight, but I trust you and your work is worth it!
Maryn!! No apologies necessary. I’m so glad you’re here, and thank you for the support!!
Thank you for such an informative, thoughtful and persuasive update. I just switched to being a paid subscriber. 😊
Thank you so much, Irene!

Oooh thank you!
just dropping in to affirm the unexplained 2025 churn is not just a you thing!!
Thank you, Kate! I’ve heard so many others talking about this in recent days. It’s a bummer. Any theories? Just oversaturation?

Ok, had I known you were involved in Hinge health, I would have paid more attention to it in our corporate emails!
It’s not too late! Still such a great product. No ill will here 🥰
Let’s talk! I think there could be some interesting crossover between our newsletters.
That sounds so great! I sent you a DM. Thank you! :-)
Will be sharing all over the place! Thank you for your work here. It’s really helped me.
Thank you so, so much, Lesley!! I’ve so enjoyed having you here.
