As someone in eating disorder recovery, I think a lot about the way that diet culture seeps into messaging around Thanksgiving dinner, Turkey Trots, etc. I appreciate you addressing this! I am a total turkey trot person. I used to run them, I got engaged in the middle of one, and now I organize one, and I completely agree with you! The whole day should just be about fun with the people you care about, whether you're wearing running shoes or slippers. ❤️❤️
