I was so honored when Terrell Johnson, author of the fantastic The Half Marathoner newsletter, reached out to suggest that we collaborate on a post. I met Terrell right here on Substack, and he’s been a supporter of my work here almost from the beginning (thank you, Terrell!), so it was a real treat to chat “live.” We discussed how to get started with running (even if you can’t yet run down the block!), how to set strength training goals (and whether you even need to), and more.
